Description

CAMARO is a new pickling type hot pepper variety with very uniform large sized fruits averaging in length around 16-17 cm and in width around 2.5-3 cm. Plants are vigorous with a good leaf cover over the fruits especially in open field plantations to prevent sun-burn patches, however this variety is also suitable for greenhouse plantations. The fruits have good pungency and turn from light green to a nice red color at maturity; after the pickling process, fruits have a very nice darker golden color. This variety has a continuous and consistent production in both quantity and quality.
